Toho Seiki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has jointly developed a next-generation free access pipe opening device with Kyowa Exeo Co., Ltd. This device uses a 3D rail to create long openings in underground utility ducts where electric wires are buried due to the underground installation of utility poles, without damaging the wires inside the pipes. The device was developed in response to customer requests for concerns such as "the risk of damaging the wires inside the pipe when opening" and "the need for miniaturization to transport it to the work site." - After repeated prototyping, the product has been completed in line with customer requests. - The developed device is currently being used at numerous sites.
